Beginning on January 3, 2022, MRVT Will Require Fares for Rides

Beginning on January 3, 2022, MRVT will require fares for rides.  The MRVT Board met on November 19, 2021 and set the fares for 2022 as follows:

                Adult and Senior Fare:                  $3.00
                Student* Fare:                               $2.00
                Kasota Fare:                                 $4.50

*Student fares apply for a student traveling to or from a secondary school building on a school day between 7:00AM and 4:00 PM.

Tickets sold before COVID and free fares can be used during January of 2022.  The tickets will need to be of the appropriate type and will require 2 tickets per ride.  On February 1st MRVT will no longer accept tickets for rides.

Beginning on January 3, 2022, passengers will have access to a new payment method called MRVT EZ-Pay.   MRVT EZ-Pay is an account that allows a passenger to deposit money into their account held within the Route Match software.   The account can be used to pay future fares.  As a passenger boards the bus the driver can, at the passenger’s request, debit the current fare from the passenger’s MRVT EZ-Pay account.  Passengers can deposit money into the account using the fare box or online with a credit or debit card.  Using credit or debit cards to put funds into MRVT EZ-Pay accounts will require passengers to register on the MRVT EZ-Pay portal.  Passengers who wish to use cash for fares and to deposit into their MRVT EZ-Pay account may do so without further registration.
More information and instructions for those who wish to register on the portal will be available soon.

Please contact Wayne or Sandi at 888-880-4696 if you have further questions.

Call 888-880-4696 to schedule a ride.
All passengers are required to wear a face mask to ride the bus!
