Beginning April 1, 2021, an “access pass” (orange sticker) will be required on all vehicles who use the City’s Yard Waste Drop-Off Site at 1128 Swift Street.
In this month’s utility bill, all customers with “Environmental Services” had the ORANGE sticker inserted. (This is not a new fee, part of this fee goes to the maintenance of the drop-off compost site.)
Please put this sticker in the upper left corner of your windshield. Residents can purchase additional stickers (for additional vehicles) for the cost of $5 at the Finance office, 227 S. Front St. or Public Works office, 405 W. St. Julien St. The City requires all customers using the drop-off site to display the access sticker. The drop-off site will be monitored, and under surveillance, and if you don’t have a sticker in your window of your vehicle, you will not be able to use the drop-off site.
If you are not a resident of the City of Saint Peter and wish to use the Drop-Off site, please stop in or call the Finance Department at 507-934-0664 and find out how you can pay to use the compost site.
If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 507-934-0670.
This has been put in place to prohibit unlawful dumping by non-residents. Thank you for helping us prevent misuse of this site
Residents and businesses using the recycling dumpsters are still allowed access and do NOT require the orange sticker.
