Dog Licenses Due April 30, 2023 
Licenses may be purchased by mail or in person at the Community Development Department at City Hall (227 South Front Street).
All dogs and cats are required to be licensed once they are old enough to have the rabies vaccination.
- Licenses are due every two years.
- Dogs are due on odd years and Cats even years.
- The licensing deadline is April 30th of each year.
City residents will be notified through utility bills when dog or cat licenses are due.
An updated rabies vaccination certificate must be provided at the time of purchase. If you do not have the rabies certificate please contact your vet and have them email or fax the updated certificate. Email: Cindy or Fax: 507-934-4917.

After April 30th a $5.00 late fee is also due.

Have a new dog purchase a one year license - licenses for dogs are valid through April 2023.
Replacement Tag $ 1.00
Residents are encouraged to license their pets to help ensure their safe return home and for the safety of the community.
