To find your specific Ward and Precinct, please use the precinct finder available from the Secretary of State’s Office at the Poll Finder website. You’ll need to enter your zip code and then your house number and street name.

Wards & Precincts

Voters in Saint Peter cast their ballots at one of two wards:

  • Ward 1, Precinct 1 -  National Guard Armory, 1120 N Swift Street 
  • Ward 2, Precinct 1 - Community Center, 600 South Fifth Street – enter building Door “B” located on the South Washington Avenue side of the building (door letters are in the transom above the door).

Absentee ballot

Want to avoid your polling place this year, you should apply for an absentee ballot. The process is safe, secure and has been used across Minnesota for decades.  Applications can be made at the Nicollet County Government Center where you can apply and immediately receive your ballot. Can’t get to the Government Center? It’s just as easy to apply online at the Secretary of State’s website at

Online applicants will receive their ballot in the mail and you won’t even have to leave your house to vote
