Housing and Redevelopment Authority
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority was created pursuant to Federal and State Statutes for the purpose of operating and maintaining public housing in Saint Peter (Park View Manor). The Housing and Redevelopment Authority may also serve as a review board for other community development activities relating to housing and urban redevelopment.
The HRA meets on the first Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at Parkview Manor (1010 South Fourth Street). There are five members on this Commission. Members serve five year terms. Regular meeting dates are subject to change due to holidays, special circumstances, and/or elections. City Council advisory board and commission members are recommended by the Mayor and appointed by the City Council. Vacancies occur most frequently at the end of the year, however vacancies do occur throughout the year as well. Members must live within the corporate limits of the City of Saint Peter.
